That 3 mfd capaciter is not for compressor its for starting the outdoor fan motar and the bigger one is for compressor starting
Note i am an AC technision so i know this please research properly not bad you had done aa good job

Its a good video for basic understanding.
But some SERIOUS mistakes are there.
1. at 3:42 time mark, the explanation about THICKER PIPE and THINNER PIPE is wrong. (though their function is rightly explained) The THINNER pipe carries the COMPRESSED, gas in HIGH PRESSURE and thus HOTTER, whereas the return pipe, which is THICKER, carries low pressure return.
2. At 4:42 time mark, the description of the function of both the capacitors is WRONG. In fact the small rectangular black capacitor is dedicated to FAN motor and the bigger round aluminium capacitor is for COMPRESSOR motor.

please check the wiring for the outdoor unit you will know that the smaller capacitor is for fan, not for the compressor.

The running capacitor is used by the compressor while the start capacitor is used by the fan.. The compressor makes use of one while the fan uses the other.

The 3mfd capacitor is for the condenser fan motor, the 35 mfd iis for starting the compressor.

Sir i think you mistake in your capacitors explanation. The small one is for the condensing fan and the big one is for starting compressor.

Is the relay responsible for activating the power supply to DC circuit?
