Tickets for the trip to Mars will cost 10 billion dollars per person, which coincidentally is the amount Donald Trump claims as his net worth.

I always see comments complaining about Jon "interrupting" Stephen during the monologues. And while I understand that Jon isn't as quippy as other side acts, I would like to point out that Jon is a talented musician and that's why he's on the show. He's not meant to be a side act or funny, he's there to play, and react to Stephens jokes same as the audience.

Someone should get fired from the Late Show for the $10 billion ticket blunder. The entire point of Elon Musk's transport system is that it's $200K to Mars, not $10 billion to the Moon as it was for Apollo. He made that comparison on stage. One of Stephen's writers just googled the cost of it and didn't bother to actually read the context of the figure. And they based the entire bit on that. It's too bad as Stephen is one of very few seriously nerdy comedians.
