What makes Ferguson the best; is Aberdeen & 1986-1999 United - He came into United with Liverpool being the unquestioned champions for years and years; spend years building United and learning & then hit the stride with class of 92 and arrival of PL. That’s what makes him special; the fact that he faced challenges of Wenger, Abramovich / Mourinho and Loud oily cheats and overcame them all is just the Cherry on top of the cake.
He broke the bank because he built the club after decades of ruin - won, won and won & made them biggest in world & had money to spend. No state sponsored 130 crap.

There’s absolutely no comparison.
Pep has only ever managed teams that were already the best in their leagues. My Grandma could have won La Liga inheriting Xavi, Iniesta, Messi etc. Everything he’s done at City is meaningless and was only achieved by cheating. Sir Alex rebuilt a struggling Man United from the ground up, won European silverware with Aberdeen and dominated the toughest league in the world for over 20 years. Massively underrated tactician from before it was overanalysed by all these faux-intellectual hipsters. This “debate” is the greatest manager that the world will ever see vs a cheating, steroid-doping bald fraud.
