Just gonna say that you have 200 tanks dedicated to single fish hahahhaha. Every betta tank. Love the video.

"They're not trying to kill your fish, just just trying to snack on them" made me LOL 🤣😂

I'm anti-flowerhorn only because I think it's sad to keep a fish in a glass box with nothing and nobody and calling it "An Ideal Environment" Species that are like that, shouldn't be kept in my opinion.

We had an Oscar years ago. Beautiful fish with a big personality, grew to about 12 inches eating frozen brine shrimp or goldfish. Loved to get his head scratched by me or my brother and enjoyed endlessly redecorating his tank, but absolutely hated my father. If my dad made the mistake of sitting at the end of the couch close to the tank, the fish would go nuts attacking the glass and splashing water out of the tank until he moved.

This was very helpful.... my dad was starting his first 55 gal community tank and they recommended a cichlid, a reedfish, zebra danios, mollies, whiptail catfish, and a fish kept disappearing and one night I caught the reedfish swallowing a danio... I immediately separated the reedfish from the tank, but the cichlid kept picking on the whiptail. I ended up doing my own research instead of going off what the local fish store said to me and have 4 more tanks now... Everyone is happy. Sadly had to rehome the reedfish because he had a vengeance towards everyone... but i learned my lesson that in this hobby, you should really research, and not let the fish stores sell you into something else.

You're right about there being exceptions to every rule. I have a longfin zebra danio who is hyper-aggressive toward all other fish. 😬

it's all about using the word "mean" when they are actually *aggressive* because hungry, territoial, protecting their offspring etc...

In my experience, Cichlids are its own category of fish that should only be kept with others in the same category. You can have plenty of cichlid species in the same tank and they will get along, ....in the way Ciclids get along. They will claim parts of the tank for themselves and there will be a constant power struggle to defend them. Compartmentalizing the tank by building caves out of rocks and plants, at different levels is a great way to maximize the number of desirable territories. All you have to consider is, in nature how many fish would thrive in an area the size of your tank? Cichlids thus need LARGE tanks. Then you can have tens of them, and they will fight each other and chase each other, and do things that cichlids do. They will be very active, and the stress on them with be the healthy kind.

Had a goldfish that chose violence everyday, we thought fish were dying randomly until one day we copped 10+ don’t die randomly so we watched the tank for an hour. The then separated goldfish would attack his reflection and was a generally angry fish hahaha

Is it weird that I think it makes a nice change to have a list of worst things...?

I have tiger barbs with sumo loaches, zebra danios, and pea puffers. They all stick to their areas and groups for me.

Love my oscars my largest will even take food from my hand and they have great personalities. I’ve got them in a 125 for now. Some Good footage of your 360 love the new bikers. I’m all ready on the look out for a bigger tank for them. After watching this tank in many videos it was one of the reason I got Oscars they are awesome. That news man was sure funny 😆

"Those oscars are gonna be a foot long, and those tetras are gonna be about two inches."
Honestly, that's *if* the tetras even live that long!
