For the leather damage, there's this putty they're using on j1 to refresh the toebox from creases.

i dont know about other people but the creasing adds to aesthetic of wearing a good sneaker imo

A good quality white acrylic fabric paint and a tiny paint brush would be a good quick fix just for touching up small scratches.

I see 1Q84 at the back! Good book choice! Murakami’s books are pretty solid. Very informative review about the 550s. The marks you talk about also happen in my Common Projects sneakers.

to be fair, the original 550's don't even have the ortholite insoles. so we're pretty lucky to have the comfort for at least 2-3 wears 😂 and it's an old shoe, people shouldn't be surprised about the cushioning anymore.
