Just got the new TBS Oblivion FPV Drone in and wanted to share my first impression of it.

Looking at this for my 2nd drone, but why are they getting a bad rap in some circles?
They claim that the parts are far out dated and the drone isn’t worth the asking price...?

Great video, mine is in the box on the kitchen table with Tango and Crossfire, session 5 and Fat shark V3’s arrive tomorrow. Going to take it out tomorrow. I came from Dji Mavic Pro to this being my first Acro quad. Can’t wait to ‘Crash’ her tomorrow learning LOL.

cool video bud thanks!! just be aware tho the cube can run 6s the motors it comes with can not i had issues of falling from the sky on 5s until i lowered the start up power in blheli to the lowest setting and run medium motor timing.

Other than your battery being in backward, that looks pretty cool! I'm wondering if the battery et60 connector slack could be zip-tied or do you think that is totally unnecessary?

I hope you like it as much as I do. I've got a few packs on mine now, and a few flight vids uploaded if you're curious. It's insane how long it flies if you're gentle with the throttle.

Glad you ended up making this! Really curious to see what ranges and times you get with this. As a rookie looking to get into the hobby for long range it's between this and the FT270 by the FliteTest guys. On watch for your thoughts on this once you get it in the air!

How are you mounting your immortal T antenna?
I got my oblivion a few days ago (check out my Instagram) but found that I was getting RX issues.
Also had a hardware failure where the back right motor wouldn’t spin up fast enough and kept dipping back and to the right.
Awaiting my replacement 😐
