There should be more women in open source, but let's just make sure we don't discriminate against ANY other group while promoting minority participation/diversity. I'll admit that I am tired of seeing all white men with open-source YT channels (mainly American and fat, too...and often bald). But, encouraging diversity needs to be handled carefully so as not to discriminate - even against white men or men of any race. In some fields, white women and black men are now complaining against being passed over for promotions in order to advance underqualified black women. i'd guess that in some companies the openly GAY black woman would get the promotion before the straight black woman. THAT goes against freedom and freedom is a HUGE part of what draws us ALL to open-source.
