in the comics for about 5 to 6 years now Betsy got back her body and Kwannon got her body back to she kept the Pyslocke name and Betsy didnt have a name tell Krakoa started and became the new Captain Britain .

A few takes:

First group:
I agree with your low end versions where they are for sculpts but I think it would be the opposite for the cards? Magneto cards are in my top 10 wants for this set. Darkchild albeit is her 3rd sculpt, it's easily her best sculpt and the one I'll paint so it's higher rated for me as I don't like her other sculpts. Iron Spider is my second favorite Spider-man after the Blue Spider-man 2099, although I totally agree on the re-skins. Your list is terribly accurate I think or rather your hearts in the right place. Captain America Civil War is the best mini in the set. I don't think he needed a better deck but a different deck is nice. He's got one of the top 25 decks already. Gladiator Hulk needs a new deck more than anyone but Magneto and Vision so having a new deck there is sweet.

Second group:
Spider-man 2099 OG, probably my favorite Spider-man. ST and Wildchild is so yuck for me! I'll paint the OG Sabretooth if I can play that. Loki the same, definitely going to play Wave 1 Loki model with Wave 3 cards. Wave 3 Apocalypse is not nearly as cool as Wave 2's. Cosmic Ghost Rider I have zero interest in and I actually think the story arc is really bad. Emperor Doom I kind of would have preferred Secret Wars Doom. Penny Parker, no interest but she has very interesting game mechanics. Silk, also zero interest in. Nick Fury Sr. is a character everyone wanted that's old because this was Nick Fury. Spider-man Noir is another no interest in, his cards are pretty weak. Spider-punk is silly and fun so that's fine :P Supwerior Spider-man is cool because it's a completely new game mechanics, interesting and fun.

Meat and potatoes, Yellowjacket or rather Henry Pym he's very high for me. I wanted Pym in the game so I'll take what I can get.

Wish you felt more positive about Enchantress! She's the first female big bad villain for Marvel and was far more prominent in the comics over Hela, but since Hela made it to the MCU first she's overshadowed. 😭

Surprised to hear that you do not know many of the characters introduced in this season. The thing that got me very interested was the Generation X characters. And they did an awful movie before any of the modern Marvel movies titled "Generation X". I highly recommend watching it in its awful glory! haha

Hearing most of the Mostly Reskin list made me glad, they added those.
Some of my close friends will probably only care for those way more than 95% of the contents, and I guess these characters are for those non-comic readers.

The theme of season 3 is multiverse. Why whine for underwhelming or weaker variants? It is supposed to be like that.. 😆

Only just found this video after my pledge arrived the other day. I hold similar thoughts on the Re-skins and skrulls. Tbh though, I would have been all for an Elektra Daredevil, Knullified Daredevil or Shadowland Daredevil (Daredevil as a villain would have been fun). But then I'm a Daredevil fanboy.


I skipped Civil War Kickstarter and just purchased it at retail instead. Saved on the cost and shipping as I didn't care about another Spiderman. We have enough. I am slightly sad about Hulkling, but I have more minis than I can likely ever play anyway. That's not even including DC.

I also loved the skrulls in the comics, but skipped the expansion because it seemed boring and 4 minis for a single villain card.

But the fourth season of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is the best one. You stopped before the show became watchable

A lot of re-skins would be more enjoyable than variants no? I actually quantify re-skins and multiverse as the same. ie. an OG Hawkeye or OG Vision, over another costumed version of an X-men. AoA, Krakoan era, 20th Spider character?

The Magneto Hero "cards" in Wave 2 are dogshit! It's the cards we need. I agree on the sculpt though.
The Ronin re-skin is really a different persona in that he's a ninja basically. There's nothing related to his Hawkeye than persona.

Don't like the Wave 1 Ironman deck? I think it's actually quite good and it looks better than the new Iron man thus far, once he gets the equipment. Now that I think of it, Worldbreaker Hulk was only ever a Hero. In fact he was never evil whatsoever. I think I'll use that OG Sabretooth model over the ST & WC model. Just looks better.

Imagine a world where the Magus created Doppleganger and had 13 cosmic cubes and doesn't make it into the game.
