Fun Fact: Diona doesn’t kick the shaker in her burst, she uses her tail. If you slow down the burst a lot, you’ll see that her legs never touch the shaker

If you look at Kaeya's hands when he does his animation, when it reaches the peak of its height, a star appears that looks like the same stars when the travelers arrived in teyvat.

Xinyan design and burst is what sold me in the first place, the visual effect and sound effect are just too perfect. No matter how bad Xinyan is in game or what people said, i'm still llike our rock n roll girl

I think Ninguang would be an easy A tier for me because her burst is really elegant and kinda has a powerful aura to it in general and just fits her as a character.

Kaeyas is pretty lackluster ngl, but I like it from a lore perspective since it mimics the ice crystals abyss mages have. Maybe a C or B tier.

i cant believe xinyan has one of the best bursts in the entire game and yet hoyo hasnt buffed her, a crime honestly.

Gonna be real, I love Kaeya's burst animation simply by virtue of his hand shaking as he charges it. Like, it sells the weight of the attack for me, y' know?

A plus point for Xiangling: Her ult is a light source and lights up the surrounding with a dim orange light.
Also, I really really really had to keep myself from heavily disagreeing with your Ningguang placement. I love her burst so much, but that may be due to the fact that I never looked at it in Premier.

On animation alone I can see why Amber wasn’t that high, but I’m a sucker for how smooth it transitions into it after a dodge or attack. 😅

I disagree on the ningguang placement ngl 😤 the way she spins and flies up, launches rocks then floats down gracefully is so cool to me

I really appreciate the list you did for us, and especially how you didn’t go by „I like this character so the burst is cool“, rather you took your time to find out details for example with Xingqiu and the spinning swords. And of course, as a Razor Main (plus Rosaria and Xinyan Burst Support) player I‘m endlessly happy with the choices you made. And also for the A characters. Keep up your amazing taste for the little things others don‘t even notice. ✨

Kaeya: moves his arm and 3 slow moving bits of ice start spining around him = D

Ningguang: floats into the air as multiple chunks of rock come from all directions, spiraling around her and forming a hexagon or golden stones around her. She pauses for a second and command them to attack. One at a time, a burst of energy is released and each is shot in a wide arc, leaving a streak of light in its path = F

Wow with the 5 stars i was like: "yeah i can see the ranking" or "yes that where id put it too" for every single character.
But with the 4 stars i feel like 80% of them are missplaced for me. Weird how that is.

And to write it again cause i dont know if youve seen it last time. The unknown goddes from the starting cutscene doesnt wear heels.

Geo Lumine’s kick for the burst is SO MUCH cooler than Aether’s basic ground punch

i feel like some of the starter characters REALLY need to be reworked. not necessarily design-wise bc it’d be kinda weird for them to give amber an entirely new burst animation or something but just kit-fluidity-wise. i got jean at like ar56 and her normal attacks are SO CLUNKY compared to kazuha or something.

mihoyo (or hoyoverse now) has improved their assests so much so i think it’d make alot of nostalgia junkie players like me super happy to just make the starter characters work a bit more consistently

i keep noticing this more and more and it always makes me realise how neglected the starter team really is

tldr: mhy please stop making jean stand like this 🗡🧍immediately after every normal attack she looks so dumb

when kaeya’s starts there’s a little star and a rainbow effect and i love that so much
edit: also, i feel like there’s a lot to gain from looking at the characters consistently from the back and the front to see the expressions they make during their burst. sara and ningguang’s stood out to me as some of my favorites in that aspect

not the ningguang slander :/. I think her burst animation is really nice, it's very short but she like freaking floats and does a nice motion with her finger. The star jades on c6 look hella dope and considering you used beidous c2 to form a judgment, you should do so for ningguang. When she casts her skill before her burst she turns the shield into a very pretty pillar thing that shoots rocks which has a beautiful design. imo at least A tier.

If Raiden Shogun burst didn't exist, Xinyan's burst would be the best one in the game.
