Camp Chef Everest | The best portable camping stove out there?

I have this exact one..had it for 5 yrs now..I use it for camp (we camp about 5 times a yr) and for when I wanna cook outside at home..it is amazing and strong. Best investment ever

This is the Everest 2, NOT the Everest 2X which you keep calling it. The 2X is larger, heavier and costs about $200. Just to clarify to anyone watching this review and then ordering on line. Otherwise, a quite good review. Especially since you've used yours for a year, unlike a lot of reviewers who think the "world wants to hear their expertise" 5 minutes after opening the box.

Great review. I just purchased one today. The burners are slightly tilted like yours so you are not the only one. Although a little pricier than the completion I think it is worth it.

Used one of these at a 9000' campground in a strong breeze. Cooked a meal of pasta, vegetables and salmon with no problems. The extra BTU's are awesome when needed.

My favorite camp chef camp stove is the Denali camp stove . It has 2 burners and a grill .

Iso butane depends on the mix

This is NOT the 2X it is the 2. Do you find the knobs protected enough? Maybe get a white gas stove for colder weather. You can actually get one and then get the propane adapter for it and you would have both.

That is not the 2X. The 2X looks completely different.

Your old stove didn't work cause your regulator was frozen, If you heated up for 30 seconds with lighter would have made it work.

That being said the Everest 2X is definitely the best burner for camping, Especially in Windy conditions!

Is it wide enough to fit full size pots & pans side by side? NO. Does it have a rubber hose for fuel line standard? NO. Then it's not the best. Judging by industry standards, the best camping stove doesn't exist. Because every one is made the same. That means Different name, same old game.
