My favourite quote in regards to planning is: plans become obsolete the moment you start executing them.

Another great video! I love talking about the values and it's usually good conversation when you call out the word "over". It doesn't mean no process or tools. It's not saying no documentation, no negation on a contract, or no planning at all.

You can almost rewrite the sentence "That is, while. there is value in the items on the right..." to be the items on the right, *support* the items on the left.

Please keep it going. Nice way to end the unpacking of the Agile Manifesto.

don't forget the most important principle of all: life before death, strength before weakness, journey before destination.

Thanks Todd Ryan. Please where does capacity in quarterly planning stand in the agile world. In an organisation where this is key as far as splitting time between BAU and projects, how does a scrum Master facilitate those sessions. Should capacity during sprint planning be measured in hours? In this case would cycle time be relevant?

Excellent video as usual. One thing that I was hoping would be addressed in the discussion of the first value: how does "people over processes and tools" fit into the Scrum Framework? I have no qualms with this, however our "Scrum Master" for our Scrum-in-name-only team frequently uses this value to justify why we can't adopt certain parts of Scrum because "that process wouldn't work for us."

Things like a Product Goal or cumulative increments or actually talking directly with users (right now all or our feedback and communication is done through project managers who aren't even employees of our company).

Is there a good way to address this?

Hello Guys, I have sent my request to join the community since yesterday but I have not received a confirmation email. Is there a specific criterion to joining the community.
