Budget 2024: Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman unveiled the Union Budget 2024 with significant adjustments in customs duties and taxes. Mobile phones and chargers will become cheaper as the basic customs duty is reduced to 15%. The same reduction applies to gold and silver. However, taxes on equity investments held for less than a year have increased to 20% from 15%, and on shares held for more than 12 months, it has risen to 12.5% from 10%. Critical minerals and three additional cancer drugs are now exempt from customs duties, while duties on specific telecom equipment and ammonium nitrate have been raised. Non-biodegradable plastics duties are also increased to 25%. Meanwhile, the list of exempted capital goods for solar panels, solar cells, and vehicles has been expanded, and leather goods and seafood are set to become more affordable.

Indian Rupees are the cheapest.Before BJP came to power we were only getting 58 Rupees for one dollar, in just 10 years we can get 84 Rupees for the same dollar! This made lot of savings for Corporates, BJP leaders, people like Nirav Modi, Mehul Choksi, Ambani, Adhani etc besides the NRIs !

Nothing will get cheaper . If the price of petroleum products increases the price of every goods will get expensive . Petroleum is required for logistics of every operations . Besides if the availability of raw materials decreases the price of these things will go up . Its basic economics of demand and supply .

Good budget Amravati AP and Bihar each state get estimate Rs 150000 crore fund for development and supporting BJP government. Where as other state in south such as Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry, Goa no fund allocated by the government. instead we should demand separate country from the south
