HASHATON + TORTURED EXISTENCE + PALINCHRON

I top 4ed in a local tournament with Hashaton this weekend. Even though it did well it felt clunky and the deck has to run quite a few costly creatures you can't easily cast without Hash in play. It could be my build isn't optimal, piloting issues and the like but I feel like the deck needs too many moving parts to work well.

I think if the deck leans more towards a control shell with these combo finishes, runs closer to 30-31 lands (MDFC’s included) that it will do a lot better and be consistent.

Palinchron, Great Whale, and Deadeye Navigator are some of my favorite commander cards and always have been. Seeing others use em is nice until I check card prices

i feel in love with Tortured Existance when i build my Sefris stax deck, need to see it be usefull in hashaton too!

Because of the fact that hashaton play patterns tend to require a lot of mana and because of this combos, I've added deep gnome terramancer at my build and it's been doing fine, but you kinda feel its absence if you don't draw it soon enough.

Hastaton should have been a cleric dang it!! Also the line is pretty slick. Lets ya play a card by one of my favorite fantasy artists of all time keith parkinson.

The only card that is kind of dead outside this combo is palinchron/Parigrin drake. And even they can be usefull at times. If you discard your hand they're free 4/4 flyers you can create and still make token copies of other creatures, they can be a ritual if you discard them for free and have more than 3 lands etc. Since all pieces are cards you probably run anyways and even the "worst" cards are still usefull outside the combo I think it's a great combo.
It might not be the best combo but it is a solid one

I was using tortured existence in my 40k necron deck. Imotekh with altar, 1 artifact creature in yard, and 1 in hand.

Using this deck as well but using great whale instead. Also it can work with peregrine drake if the other card is a clone. It actually nets 1 mana each time since you’re spending 4 mana to make 5.

Seems like a solid backup combo to me, thoracle is better but why not not run both?

If you have phyrexian metamorph or any other copy creature you can produce inifinite mana by copying palinchron or peregrine drake.
