Ive spent my entire life thinking everything that was wrong inside my mind was normal. Listening to Justin has helped me to accept the person I am. I had the wonderful chance of meeting Justin on three separate occasions while he spent some time in Nashville taking care of himself. I fought threw the worst of my addictions listening to "Foiled"... and getting the chance to meet him while both of us where working threw our problems with drugs was priceless.

Blue October is a rare talent. They've been my undisputed favorite band since I was in the 6th grade. Discovering their music is one of the best things that has happened to me. Justin is an amazing singer/songwriter. This band never ceases to amaze me. They are the most underrated band in the States by far.

Well I am currently "Bleeding Out" as I undergo therapy twice a week and psychiatry appointments monthly and trying medication after medication because my body doesn't tolerate them well so....I see this song as my battle with Bipolar! After An Open Book: An Evening with Justin Furstenfeld and reading "Crazy Making" did I gain more knowledge of what was going on in my distorted mind and began to accept that I suffer from Mental Illness. Every Blue October has meaning to me in my life!

I honestly don't believe anyone can inject as much of his passion into singing as Justin. Its doubly amazing considering he is in a constant battle with his own mind day in day out.
