I am wondering, if the empty set is contained every set (a subset of every set) then why when we find the cardinality of some set A, it does not include the empty set in the size, but when we find the cardinality of P(A) the empty set is then included in the size of that?

Wait... a set can get infinitely big however not too big. Seems really vague. Almost like we should've made another word for infinity.
