A Scholarly Discussion On Finding Certainty In Uncertain Times
Shakir Ahmed Pandor is a Tahfeedh graduate of Dewsbury, UK and an Alimiyah graduate of Darul Uloom Bury, UK. He has served as an Imam and Islamic studies teacher at various Masaajid in the greater Toronto area, as well as an Imam and resident scholar of Elizabethtown, Kentucky USA. Since 2011 he has been the Imam and resident scholar at the Islamic Centre of Oshawa. He is also an instructor at Ma'had Zakariya (Zakariya Institute), a director of the Canadian Council of Muslim Theologians (CCMT), a director and religious consultant for Khalil Center Canada, a volunteer chaplain with Lakeridge health hospitals and actively involved with the MSA at OnTech university where he conducts a weekly Halaqah called "Coffee Break With A Sheikh".
Sikander Hashmi is an Alimiyah graduate of Al-Rashid Islamic Institute in Cornwall, ON. He has also studied journalism at Concordia University in Montreal and recently completed his Masters in Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership at Carleton University. He has worked as a reporter for the Toronto Star and Montreal Gazette, and served as Imam of the Islamic Centre of Kingston. Since 2014, he has been serving as Imam of the Kanata Muslim Association.
