Bought my first Slash couple months ago. It really clears my mind work on him. Run it, fix it, make upgrades. This is the best hobbie ever.

I’ve been in RC probably 2x Brett’s age. I called all the big names tonight, either got hung up on, sent into an endless robot loop, or some other bs. Amain….picked up the phone. I normally price hunt and waste all kinds of time on little things, but these guys spent all the time I wanted talking to me. I’ve ordered lots of stuff from them throughout the years, but they just earned a hard core RC’er’s business for good. 5* awesome business!

Newby buys the fastest RC car. Newby can't handle the speed, breaks parts and fries the electronics. Newby cries and declares the car is a POS!

"I just bought one RC car, I need four more!"

Thank you - I needed to hear this. Bought my very first RC car a week ago, and was real close to buying my 2nd and 3rd. I need to slow down on the hobby a bit.

Great vid - loving all your vids and what I am learning from them. Thank you!

Great video!
Another important thing to do is set the steering end points; not doing so burns out your servo.
I like your comment about not using a compressor; back in my mountain bike racing days we avoided cleaning our bikes with a compressor as it can cram dirt into the bearings or other places that you don't want it...

Editor of these videos deserves high pay! Love these, I'm returning to RC after almost 30 years away doing life and its my guilty pleasure. But I'm guilty of every point made here (except I have only one RC car). Thank you AMain, you guys are leading the way and are as addicting as the old Tower Hobbies catalogues I received in the mail. Did I mention giving your video editor props? Please do.

Im new to the hobby less than a year now and that last tip “buy one car lets buy four more” literally happened to me lol…so true. Take your time and just have fun with the stock and replace what you need when you need it. Still having a blast and great video for true newbies like myself 😂😂

Thanks. Right on time to share this with my son. Just getting him into his first RC kit, and it's easier for him to watch a video than take it from me 😂 Reinforcement 👍🏽

#2 very important, when my little bro got his first RC (rtr) i told him to check every screw and nut and tighten them if needed before he goes out.
he didn't listen and felt exactly the pain of buying new wheel nuts and steering knuckle screws with bushings lmao

All good information. Another tip that is a must. Look through your manual and read up on the maintenance intervals. Rc cars need regular servicing just like your real cars do. Diff fluids need to be replaced after so many runs so keep track of that. Also, be careful with lipo charging. Get yourself either a lipo bag or some flame proof container like an ammo can. Dont let your house catch on fire. And i wouldn’t recommend charging inside
