Chaconne in A minor by Visée

Robert de Visée's beautiful Chaconne from his suite in A minor. The theorbo is strung with gut strings and tuned down to the historical French Baroque pitch of 392Hz (AKA one whole tone lower than modern pitch). I'm playing here without nails. Theorbo by Klaus Jacobsen.

Rob Scallon sent me here and I subbed your channel. The Theorbo Lute is one of my favorite sounding string instruments. I find that it has a very relaxing sound. something you can unwind to. I also admire your playing style. Most of the other lute players I've subscribed to are much older in age and I really admire seeing someone young like yourself who can, hopefully, set a trend for other talented young musical people to try this instrument out.
