2016-2021 Nissan Maxima rear brake pad and rotor replacement

the slide pins with boot in the rear are up top. do you know if its the same for the front? most of the videos I've seen, say the pin with the rubber boot goes on bottom in the front. But the service manual from nicoclub.com say both the front and rear, the pin with boot goes on top. so I put all 4 on top but I'm kinda nervous. Any idea?
