To get ahead of this: my wife recorded some of the convo on her phone, but I was not prepared to record or ask for the convo to be recorded. I was called by Jimmy on a random day.

Really enjoyed this video. Maybe a pet food video next, my dog gets an upset stomach really easily just from changing its diet from just changing dog food brands and looking at the ingredients list....heavily processed and is amazing dogs and cats survived at all.

You've cooked sushi burritos for your cats before but how about a video for both cat and dog owners with the same format as this video, take 1-2 brands of pet food and then show us how to make a pet friendly/healthy alternative at home?

also, apparently in a bunch of the pizza lunchly's there's been reports of the cheese being moldy way before its expiration date, so it's also a really bad health hazard too

so my take on it is lunchly is technically better than lunchables, but getting slapped in the face is technically better than getting punched in the face, when the best option is to avoid getting hit in the first place.

Could probably make Paul's cheaper if you get cheaper bread and pasta sauces. Heck mini bagels for the bottom of the pizza.

Cooking with Chaos effectively gives you about 20, 160, 000 combinations to choose from (that's just for 1 meal a day for a year). You can also make slight changes to the recipe (at your own discretion). That adds more to the variety. So, with that analysis: It is more meals than you could ever imagine.

Excellent video. When I was in high/middle school, my mom made me make lunch for myself. I did get free lunch, but mine tasted better than the school food, lol. It was no problem at the time I had about 10 years of experiments I had tested. So it was easy and fun.

Glad to get your insight on this one, my problem hasn't really ever been with the product, but with the marketing towards children and the blatant calls for it being healthy, not healthier but healthy. I am legitimately happy to have a somewhat better alternative to lunchables out on the market, I just wish they wouldn't have tried going down the road of saying it is healthy and that its better in part because prime has more electrolytes which kids don't really need unless they are extremely active. On an unrelated note cooking with chaos looks like a ton of fun and I will definitely be backing just have to consider which one to choose.

Thank you ChefPK for looking into this from your perspective. While i understand you might not have exact numbers, I was hoping you would have an approximate sugar count in your homemade meal.

so the reason they created it was to offer lower sugar and nitrate free options? I got the impression you found that when comparing the products, but there's nothing else about what they said. can't say i'm a big fan in general of any of the creators involved, but i am curious what their reasoning was.

Thanks, dude. I'm not a parent, but i've got little cousins who are in the target audience for this (and prime) and my aunt has asked my thoughts (as a type 1 diabetic, i'm just incidentally more informed by necessity about this kinda stuff). It means a lot that you kept the cost of the homemade in for the sake of transparency. Also cooking with chaos looks like a blast.

Food its not cheap, preparing food its time consuming, but overwall, it will taste better, and it will be better for your health

Maybe an option for your Cooking TCG with just the cards and the 4 future expansions without the dice and woodenbox?

processed crap is processed crap. No way you slice it, it is terrible for your health!

great insight.
as a health enthusiast, the fact that it's real cheese and the salami is nitrate free is very welcome. i also appreciate that the "energy drink" has less sugar than other such beverages. honestly, considering how horrible the standard American diet is, having a few lunchlies a week might even be health promoting in some instances; especially if the prime drink helps some kids get rid of their sweet cravings.
i do wish they could have added a little more fruits or veggies in there, even if it's 3% spinach in the crackers. but maybe they do / will with other lunchly flavors.
the feastables chocolate, though... i wish they switched back to the recipe with less sugar

I used to eat the plain (cheese only) Lunchables pizza every Friday for a few years in school. The sugar and the sodium alone is insane in those.

That thing looks like something that can land anyone into an emergency room FAST from Mr. Beast's lunch idea. Your cooking is definitely much healthier and what is in my wheelhouse.
