If you want the visual portion of your vid to have more impact that people could relate to, you would have been better off showing pictures of people standing in long lines and other scenarios of people struggling to get food and dealing with no electricity... even most gas pumps nowadays are run by electricity . Pictures of people sitting in their homes with candles and gas lanterns, things like that .

I see the attack being one that wipes out banking information. Accounts zeroed and any data that proves the amount that was there for each person being eliminated. This would create chaos.

Very simplistic view of a much more complicated infrastructure with multiple fail safes on hand. This would pretty much require the cooperative services of all advanced threat actors using all of the existing knowledge and experience they have together in one harmonious Avengers like mission. They dont really work together that way. What we will continue to see is TA's accessing portions of networks within critical infrastructure but the big prize will continue to be protected by the big minds and tools. Its not like TAs are that much more advanced than the best cyber defence teams. They will always be slightly ahead but never to the point that they will be able to take down all CI. That would indeed be doomsday but we are not even close to that idea ever happening.
