Having this track in the background while facing the unbidden and their 750k fleet with your 300k fleet and your allied AE's epic 400k fleet is one of the most epic things you could do in Stellaris.

A shame that the game still lags in super big battles.

Sergeant Steve sat down on the half-broken, crackling wooden chair in the only minuscule library they had aboard the Science Ship. Once aspired to be an academic, now a retired military personnel, Steve loved to indulge in the precious little books and records in the library. His new job of a research assistant onboard the ship leaves him scarcely any free time. It is only in between his duties, could he immerse in this reality so distant in both space and time. Reading about the culture and customs dating from the pre-Confederation times, makes Steve feel almost alive. He stared at the book sitting upon his desk, it was so thick it reminded him of his youth, when people still had dictionaries and encyclopedias, when General Artificial Intelligence is still in the nascent phases of trial and error, when paper can still contain the exponentially growing boundary of knowledge. Steve blew across the cover like blowing a candle, the technique of which he did quite master from his childhood parties. Under his command, the sediment dispersed into a swirling gust of dust. The handful of gilded letters, however, was very much unreadable.

The curiosity part of Steve's mind has assumed control, he was intrigued. He flipped to the very first page of the book, marveling at the toll that time has taken on these bleached words: "One, thou shalt not make a machine in the likeness of a human mind."

Steve laughed, the Precursors must have made a mistake. AI has come a long way and became an essential part of the contemporary world. Without them, we would still be scrambling over dictionaries and encyclopedias! The Confederation tightly monitors every nook and crannies of the mind of every AI ever enlightened, not a single electron entanglement has fallen short of its sight. We have created the security that the Precursors hadn't even dreamt of, we have gone above and beyond the Precursors.

At this moment, a pale red dot appeared on the subspace sensor radar, immediately followed a tiny beep sound. Steve instinctively jerked his head, but soon went back to reading. Then another red dot came out of nowhere with a beep, then yet another one, another dozen, a hundred, a hundred thousand. What used to be a tiny dot now stains the radar blood red, what used to be a little beep is now a continuous shrieking cry. Steve realized that something was approaching, he was just wondering what.
