POWDER TREES SNOWBOARDING SESSION

Today we're snowboarding though the powder trees on Blackcomb mountain. We're looking to snowboard the best tree lines, powder slashes and pillow drops. We're also going to give you tips though out the day to help your powder tree snowboarding. Chris is riding his new Jones Storm Chaser snowboard which is helping him to land those pillow drops. I'm riding the Yes 420 powder snowboard which is great for tight turns through trees and floating above the powder. Been riding glades in Copper "Mario's" not identified on the map, Winter Park and Steamboat Springs "No Name" for the last four years.  One trick that we use in the dense wood is to make a single owl tone sound as a leader and the other rider reply with a double owl sound.  This indicate that you are still ok and we can correct our line to stay together.  You don't want to be too far if something goes wrong, a walk back up in powder is painful...

I know what Chris meant about having the extra help of the pow board, I’m 14 so I went from a 134 to a 149 in the course of 6 months and it’s so weird how stable it is and how easy landing are
