This was a really informative video with all the steps necessary to replace a balance staff. One day, after I've repaired more than a few watches, I hope to be brave enough to try it myself.

Thanks for the great video. Making and fitting a balance staff was the hardest thing I have ever done! Just how it was done hundreds of years ago completely blows my mind! Feels a bit churlish to complain about how hard it was when they must of had it many many times harder to do. Absolute respect for them, and all watchmakers out there, past and present.
