These lectures are a great way of getting up to speed on the Rails Framework.
The presenter is one of the best programming tutors I've found online. 
I would recommend supplementing with Rails and Ruby books to provider a wider understanding as I find tutorials and books complement each other.


I bought the tutors book and would say it would be nice if the book tied in with the video tutorials as there are a number of errors in the book code and it doesn't follow the videos. Appreciate you are doing this for fun but it would help immensely!

is it common to have all the sites  navigation like home, about, videos in the same controller or do you put them in their own controllers. for example home has its own controller, sports has its own, news has its own and etc
