Why would I walk away from a decade of work on a Ph.D.? Here’s why.
I was writing papers, attending conferences, and connecting with professors. But one conversation changed everything.
We were talking about mental health, and I realized every woman at the table was on medication just to survive the academic system.
That was the moment I knew: I couldn’t keep climbing a ladder built on a system that creates such unhealthy conditions. So, I took a new path, teaching yoga and helping others reclaim their mental and emotional health.
