The rise of independent journalism is undeniable. The amount of video that is disseminated via social platforms is massive. Corporate can’t garner attention from those platform and now they are hemorrhaging viewership. Independent journalists have no board of directors. They answer to themselves so the shift in attention will inevitably go to them.

I find it amusing, in a sad sort of way, that Durbin complained about not getting a raise in 10 years when the US minimum wage hasn't been raised since 2009.
