I could try to ID this LEGO set by looking for the LEGO pieces that are there, but what if I could ID it by looking for the LEGO pieces that aren't there?

This channel went from, "look at this cool stuff I do", to "find that LEGO."
He has essentially become one of those hard-core geoguessers but for LEGO.

the lid on the train is removable so u can move the characters around in the train, that’s most likely how the dust was collected there :)

"I'm using dust to ID Lego sets.."
to be fair, a good investigator uses every piece of information at their disposal. dust would be one of them.

It’s like Geoguessr for Lego!

Also, it’s cool to see Chima pop up like that! Super underrated theme that basically made my childhood!

I need an entire animated or live action series where a Sherlock Holmes style lego analyst is consulted on several mysteries involving lego

A 2×2 plate, a gold stud and a black round piece
Dr. House: "and a 1×2 grille"
Thirteen: "There was no grille in the photo, the other pieces might not even be from the same set"
Dr House: "Of course there was a grille in the photo. Right there."

Unless the dust appeared after it was pulled apart and lost to be refound later and that's why the owner can't remember what it's from
