IC3D : Columbus Mini Maker Faire 2014 Review

The Columbus Idea Foundry and COSI hosted the 3rd annual "Columbus Mini Maker Faire" on Oct 11, 2014. We had a great time and got to see tons of action including power tool drag racing, quad copter battling, blacksmithing, metal casting, laser cutting, 3D scanning, various robotic action and also a variety of artwork from glass work to spray paint. We had a prime table set up with our 3D printing gear. The new "IC3D P2" 3D printer was put to work the entire show allowing many locals to see the technology first hand. We also gave away many spools of our in-house made ABS filament to local makers.
