My first perfume (paid in installments 😂) was Dune by Dior. Yes, I'm old. Fragrances are ridiculously expensive in Brazil because of all the import taxes. I still love Dune but prefer to purchase contemporary scents. Last perfume I bought was Mon Guerlain Intense.

As a young teen I there was no way I could afford perfumes and gifting young girls perfume wasn’t a thing in my family. I don’t remember where I got it, but I had a tiny dabber flacon of Mugler’s Angel and I loved it!
The first perfumes I purchased (in uni) were Chanel Chance EDT and Chloe EDP. I recently bought a bottle of Chance EDT and realised that I don’t love it anymore, the pineapple opening is unpleasant to me. The Chloe is ok…my taste has changed quite a bit.

So many of your first scents were mine as well! My mom wore Be Delicious and La Vie Est Belle when I was growing up, I started to wear both once I started becoming interested in perfumes and LVEB specifically became my first signature scent. Juicy Couture Gold Couture is actually a more recent discovery for me but I love it! I have Gold Couture and LVEB in my collection currently. I think LVEB will always be a lifer for me 💖

Love this walk down memory lane with you! My first were Chanel no. 5 and 19 EDT, then EL Beautiful and Clinique happy, then Armani Aqcua Di Gio. Tbh I don’t really love any of them anymore - mostly too heavy! The one I atill have and love from when my husband gave it to me almost 20 years ago is Tuscany per Donna and its still one of my favorite fall/winter scents.

I only started wearing perfume two years ago, and it took me a while to get more into it. The first one was Sabrina Carpenter’s Sweet Tooth (which is way too sweet and young for me now 😂), but Maison Margiela’s Beach Walk and PDM’s Delina La Rosée really changed everything for me. Those got me loving perfume, and they’re still my favorite scents, though I’ve been using both for less than two years still
