2/25/2024 it DOES work. I never dealt with Roku or what ever prior. So I went in blind. I had to buy the Wife a 32 inch tv other day. So I got the 1080p TCL Roku tv. I researched first on Roku to see what it was. Also how to set up a account first. I did all this on a PC Google Chrome browser. Went to main Roku site and set up account. Got to the payment section and Wife was like hell no, not getting my card talk. I said there is no skip part. I then told her let me dig around on a bypass maybe. That search put me to this vid herein. I started reading replies and thought the hope was lower now as few say don't work. I still attempted all per the video in it's full step. Redid account and bottom indeed had the skip part. Account created with no card, tv is up and running great...

I just confirmed it does work. Before I came to this video, I swear there was no Skip option the first time I saw the payment screen. Maybe I missed it, maybe Roku is playing games to get your information 🤷.

i did the same.. but i noticed that you can't activate the disney+ button on your remote if you didn't go through the payment process step. can anybody help how to activate disney+ button without giving away credit card details? many thanks!
