New rumble strips installed in as Las Vegas officials try to curb illegal street racing

It has been nearly a year since the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department announced a new task force to crack down on reckless drivers here in the valley.

Maybe they should open speedway every weekend thru out the year like in other states and in winter months after 2nd week of dec they can close it til 2nd week of Jan but open rest of the year on weekends to let them use the track then why would people want to race illegally if they have the track. Maybe our law makers should be smarter and think before spending money on stuff that they will move on to another piece of road anyways and race there later on
