You are doing the route when I got lost at the top and came down the route you are going up. Halfway down, the path there is a bend in the path, and there is a spot with a super view . I remember the big gate i came out of and thanked god i was back on the road. ❤

Interesting as always - and good weather again. It's a long time since I was up there before the steps and and walkways were put in but what a tremendous view from the top especially in that light. Shame about the disrespect shown by some people with the fires.
Trust you all had a good Xmas and wishing you a good New Year.

Plenty 🎅 about on the trail Tracey 😊good ti see sis & Teddy 🐶🐕❤ making an appearance on thd channel again 👍terrific views from the summit, overlooking Thirlmere ❤❤ yet another example of neanderthal beings visiting another lovely part of Lakeland & destroying the surroundings, whatever happened to leaving somewhere as though you've never been there 🤔🤔🤔🤔morons are everywhere in society Tracey & i mean everywhere!!! Regards to you, Andy, sis & borh Billy & Teddy 🐕🐶❤.hope you enjoyed your 'belated' Christmas 🎄 🎉

When did you do this walk? The weather looks identical to the day we did it last week!

Did you not see the earth works/ditches on the level land just to the left before you took that short path to the summit of the hill fort ???
