My self care routine includes meal prepping, journalling, going for walks and getting my nails done. I would like to improve my self care by becoming more spiritual, so, I've started by learning about yoga, the asanas, and everything there is to it.

I’ve noticed that when life gets busier, it takes much more effort for me to stick to a self care routine, I’m planning on incorporating at least one self care action everyday into my schedule this month💖

highlights from the past month: watching Doctor Strange, buying old books and practicing makeup, my business continues to grow
one thing im proud of: taking it day by day, not losing all hope
one thing i learned: i have friends who love me
how can i improve for next month: more PT, nature walks, and growing my dream shop, and reaching out to friends and family
october will be: my best month in sales and happiness
top 3 goals: have a glow up, break my monthly sales goal, decorate / revamp my studio
mini goals: share my new blog, edit my poetry chapbooks, be kind to myself

planning this new month really feels life affirming <3

As a part of my self care routine, I meditate daily. I also do weekly pamper routines, like hair masks, face masks, head massages, etc. I love journaling too but I don't do it that often for some reason so that's something I m definitely trying to do more.

Some of my October goals :
- Doing 5 or less mistakes in Traffic laws mock exam and trainings
- Be consistent with Swedish and Japanese lessons
- Teach my calves to give their feet
- Going outside often to harvest nuts and mushrooms
- Build a new enclosure for the goats

Wow I can't believe it's October already! In September I definitely forgot a lot of my good self care routines, instead just working like a maniac in pyjamas all day. So this month I'm really hoping to focus back on getting a regular sleep schedule, exercising everyday and practicing mindfulness. They seem like such small things but I know I spiral whenever I forget these! Thank you for your endless wisdom Aileen <3

Wow! I just planned October and am quite excited for it!

September review: One word for September: Self-Care
Highlights were: Healthy grocery hauls (eating my greens: tried okra, pumpkin & Bittergourd in veggies)
What I learned; how I make homemade Vanilla Icecream.
How can I improve next month? By investing in myself, by education.

October 🍁🍂 One word to describe it: Outstanding (Outstanding October) 💕
Top 3 goals;
1. Finish a book (academic) and gift it to my University Professor of this field.
2. Read 'To Kill a Mockingbird' by Harper Lee, listen to it's audiobook & also watch it's adaptation.
3. Room cleaning (fall): Ceiling (cobwebs) & floor underneath the Sofa.

Mini goals:
Revise some part of scripture.
Recite.
Do some more reading.
Stretch.
Less expense on groceries.
Adequate sleep.
Less lip peeling.
Polishing my basic Maths.

Well, for the book, it has 31 chapters, so one chapter each day, perfect for this month.

Bonus question: my current self-care is pretty bad. I want to improve my sleep cycle, focus, lip care, emotional health.

In the last couple of months I wasn't taking care of myself because I had a big project I was working on but after finishing it I felt like omg I need some time for myself away from work and to just empty my mind. Because of that, I took the last week of September as a break for myself because October is going to be a busy month also for me. So I decided that if I want to have a break for myself I need to start meditating more, journal, do more yoga, working out, listen to podcasts, say no to what I don't want to do, spend time with myself, organize my thoughts, have better sleep, spend time with my family, and most importantly spend less time on my phone and quit most of the social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Twitter.

Hopefully, I will have a good self-care routine in October because as you said the busier we are the more we need to take care of ourselves and our minds.

Congratulations on you birthday milestone. No matter what age you are at I believe everyone is still learning including myself even in my 40's now.

This month because of uncertainty about a lot of different things in my life I ended up planning my month much later and without my “map” I drift a little from my goals and positive habits!
Normally what I would do for myself is: meditate, gratitude and yoga in the morning. Now that I’m not that consistent I notice just how much this little ritual helps me keep focus, clarity, calm and confidence in myself. Now that I’ve finally planned all out I’ll try to slowly get back into it, this monthly planning video are truly precious for me! 🙏🏻❤️

I totally agree with the meditation part, I used to drop off some days, but since few months I'm consistent almost every day and the one day I don't meditate, I really feel heavy and in the end, I feel meditation is now essential to me and I can just hope anyone would meditate like 10min a day every day. It is really life-changing!

All that i get from her videos are POSITIVITY POSITIVITY and POSITIVE ENERGY . Thats all it lifts me up each and every time specially when i am upset and down .

Coloring! Drawing stresses me out at the moment because I'm being a perfectionist, but coloring absolutely relaxes me, and every time I complete a page, I feel accomplished. Creating something beautiful makes me feel like I'm finally doing what I'm supposed to be doing.
