Good job everyone. The story speaks of a common experience where we’re not sure why a relationship didn’t work out or couldn’t evolve into a next step, and we can rationalize what’s going on and then discover later on that maybe our rationalizations were wrong or we were not fully honest with ourselves or with others. Or maybe we were as honest as we could, and it just takes time to make sense of our feelings. Sadness is part of how we acknowledge a past or current change, and regret is part of how we build the next changes.
