This is actually a fantastic option. They fixed one of the biggest problems that I have had with my Cintiq Hybrid (the cable) but I'm so reliant on my express keys. Guess I'll have to get the remote! Great that they are making their products more accessible to people though!

The cintiq 16 is great! I plan on investing in one within the next few months; although of course I'll read more reviews, and more testing. Wacom only released this tablet because they're getting scared of competitors leveling up, and becoming real competition for them. I knew it was only a matter of time before they dropped an affordable screen tablet with the popularity of these surface pros.

I felt you with your comment at the end with non-screen tablets xD It makes me feel old, haha. Great review!

I just bought the Cintiq 12wx for like $150.
It's the same pressure sensitivity (2048 ps) as the Cintiq 13hd, but it's an older model.
I suggest that if anyone wants to purchase a Wacom Cintiq product but don't want to pay astronomical amounts, they should look into older models like 21ux or 12wx. It's worth the price difference.

woah thank you so much for this review :) I have an old tablet that still works althogh it's not with working screen like the cyntiqs, been eyeing one for years but still unsure in which one to invest, mainly with the art I tend to do and since I'm adjusting to digital, since I work mainly with traditional, so this review helped me out in understanding a bit more the differences between models. Your videos are always interesting :D

I also have a cintiq 13HD and I love it, but it's not a tablet you can travel with due to all the cords.
I was interested in this new 16in, but I don't like that it doesn't have express keys...

I also have the mobile studio pro. It's very good-- it's basically a portable cintiq 13HD. I have had some issues with windows 10 and tablet mode on the mobile studio, but otherwise it performs well. I recommended it, but it is VERY expensive. An iPad is much more affordable and is best for hobby artists.

Thank you for your video! Among all the others on youtube, I found additional information there, such as about the latency, or that the tilt sensitivity of the pen is a nice feature, but useless, if the software does not support it. Or the short sequence, where you adjusted the γ-curve of the pen: There were a few options for the software in use, and "others". Hence. I wonder, which software maxes the capabilities of the tablet and the driver. Which one do you use? Very helpful video, and thank you again!

Hi Laovaan, I really want to know if this cintiq works with autodesk sketchbook pro? I would like to buy it for my birthday 🤔. Thanks a lot, I love your videos so much!!

For those who are looking at Cintiq and drooling over Trust me, it's not as worth it as you think. I recently bought one and the way it is build means that the power button is faulty to break (which is what happened to me), and the drivers mess up any tablet you've had already installed (goodbye old tablet usage). Ontop of that, if something happens, the customer service for it sucks (why mine is still not fixed), and they will only fix it if they deem it enough to 'repair', (i've had to talk to 2 different people and ask for a manager to even GET the information on how to send it.) Which they do NOT cover shipping/handling in the warranty. Just a heads up to anyone out to buy one. You should probably go for Huion at this point, because let's face it, Wacom's pricing is EXTREMELY high for something that is lowering in quality it seems as time goes by. Only thing that has lasted for me in my experience was the Intuos series, but now even the drivers for that are ruined.

So basically it's better and cheaper than 13HD? Did Wacom finally make a step into the right direction?
