Helpful review. I new to display tablets like this and discovering the lack of a laminated screen on the Cintiq 16 is a major bummer. I'm not paying $600 for something that will get scratched up in a few months. I really leaning towards the Huion tablets now.

Thanks for the review I've been looking through so many and for some reason no one mentions how the eraser feels :/ It's a big dealbreaker for me. Is it pressure sensitive?

Hi, I really enjoyed your review. I note that you said that you don't rely on this cintiq for colour accuracy, that you use your other monitor. Does this mean that you mirror the 2 displays? And if so, do you have any problems if both screens aren't the same resolution?
I've been thinking of getting one of these to mirror with my Eizo monitor for working in Photoshop but have heard that it won't look right if both monitors aren't the same resolution??/ I also note that you're using a PC and I'm using a Mac.

I know this is a very late comment but I am going into university in order to get my art skills to a good enough point To become a Mangaka outside of Japan. And nowadays many Mangaka are going Digital. So I was wondering if someone could tell me if this is good for manga or if there’s one in a similar or cheaper price range that’s better. Thank you:))

I think it's a two fold reason they removed the buttons. Blame lefties like me. And so Wacom turned it into a profitable dilemma/solution for themselves.

Actually when it comes to drawing (and guitar and tennis and whiteboards and...) I'm fairly ambidextrous but there are hard core lefties out there who have too much trouble operating right handed objects.
