This is so nostalgic for me as I lived in Richmond as a child over ten years ago. I remember an excellent panini café at 1:12 next to the Nationwide, which sadly went out of business. Richmond really is as beutiful as I remember and probably even more off-camera!

Hi UWE, I just happen to see the short video on Richmond town to St.Helena Pier. This part of London has a small town feel and more open and relaxed setting. Could see a lot of Italian eating joints. Enjoyed the short walk.

I lived in Richmond in the mid seventies, it's so sad to see how scruffy it has become. Particularly happy memories of the hot summer of 1976.

I used to visit Richmond Upon Thames an awful lot and loved it. I nearly purchased a house here but then went for somewhere more central. What a mistake to make. It would have been worth a million or two if I had purchased in Richmond. Hate the planes but you get used to it.

They still have Gap which is a surprise as most are closing outside of London. The Tesco Express store and the Coral on the corner used to be a department store called Owen Owen in the 1990's. Oh Top Shop is closing wow big shame not as I hate the tax avoider Green ! It's become very posh with Reiss and other names. Cannot see Jigsaw are they still based here ?
