Primal was renewed for season 3 in 2023

Hopefully since that show is switching to an anthology format once that is done he can spend more time on unicorn warrior

I really hope this show gets a season 2, but I feel its greatest weakness was the fact that it relied too heavily on a linear main storyline instead of the nostalgic and old-school episodic structure. It just doesn't feel like it meshes with Genndy's style of cartoon unless its a movie. I feel if it was more like a steampunk fantasy version of Sym-Bionic Titan, it would've been just as iconic and on par with Genndy's classics like Dexter's Laboratory and Samurai Jack. I honestly hope season 2 is more episodic with the main story in the background when if we get it.

It's worth noting that the show seems to take inspiration from the Eternal Champion — the books by Michael Moorcock, not the Sega game.

My one criticism is that I feel this season would have been much better it it had more than 10 episodes, that's actually a criticism I have of many shows with great story and characters but not enough episodes to flesh it out.
