I have heard so many people say that the black widow is the most deadly spider in the world. And that is not the truth! I would still not recommend for you to get a bite from one though.. It is so fascinating watching the black widow hunt for it's prey! I love to observe it when it covers it prey in silk! Follow if you love spiders!

it may not be the most venomous of spiders, but that's not what actually makes it dangerous. The Black Widow is actually feared because it's fairly agressive. It won't hesitate to bite if you come anywhere near it, this makes it infinitely more dangerous than most other venomous spiders that will run away.

Just like a bee sting it's only if you're allergic to them you can get sick but after you get stung you have to go to the hospital

My sister almost died from a couple bites. They did everything to slow the spread of the venom before getting to the hospital which helped a lot. Let's be honest though. Without modern hospitals to manage the symptoms most people would check out.

Yup that ma the goes to the Brazillian Wandering spider aka the Banana spider since they frequently are found in the Banana stalks in Brazil.

the same goes for copperheads, people are so terrified of them here but they're non lethal usually and don't go out of their way to harm people. venomous animals are misunderstood

Its venom is only 15x more deadly than a rattlesnake. It just doesn’t typically inject as much as a snake would. I don’t know about “most” deadly, but it is certainly deadly.

Black Widows are my favorite. I have 28 of them now. And 2 males. They are very fun to watch. Thanks for giving honest facts about them. Everyone is terrified of them but they definitely aren't dangerous if you're careful
