5th wheels are cheaper, even if you include the price of the truck. And truck gives you a small vehicle you can drive around without having to tow a vehicle

Give me my diesel pusher, i can pull my boat, race car, four wheelers, or wife’s car. All while doing 80mph and getting 9mpgs. You ant doing that with a 3500 truck trying to get 17k down the road. Plus when you get there all you have is maybe a golf cart, that is if you have a toy hauler.
