It really is about the naturalness of the thing. The bridge of incidence is shortend when the imagined act is assumed fully. It's not unnatural for the key to your house to open a lock and so it works every time. If its not your house yet them the key doesn't open the door.

The way you explain it is different than Neville explains it. In his book "The feeling is the secret" He says that reality is a projection from your subconscious mind. The subconscious is impersonal and your concious thoughts and feelings impress the subconscious to give birth to those impressions. The only reason it hard to manifest a million dollars vs a cup of coffee, is because of your beliefs that a million dollars is a BIG deal. Therefore there is resistance. You can bypass this by starting with manifesting small things, and working your way up to bigger things. This erodes down your limiting beliefs, through experience.

There’s a scripture that says “ Do not be deceived, god cannot be mocked a man reaps what he sows” This is a special scripture for me, because it’s basically telling you 1. Circumstances do not matter . There is a law within the earth that supersedes any of your natural senses … and that law has to go out and accomplish what it was suppose to regardless of what your seeing right now . Don’t be deceived into thinking what you’ve planted will not come to pass because the god in you has to harden that fact in assumption to make it true and you will see it come to pass .” Because god cannot be mocked .. watch your thoughts because your not just thinking things .. those things come back as a harvest so when your going within and operating as the operant power now that thing has to be true or else that means god is a liar . And god cannot lie . There’s a scripture that say “ god is not a man that he should lie “ so again we know that we can trust our god self with our desires and that no matter it will show up in this reality as it did when we planted in the spiritual realm
