NEW WINKOWSKI 10in.SHAPE PRODUCT CHALLENGE! | Santa Cruz Skateboards

Today we talk about and put to the test the 10 x 31.6 inch Erick Winkowski Trash Panda Card deck with art by Yaia. This NEW shape is an evolution of the original Winkowski shape. With a longer nose and a more rounded out tail, this board gives the same awesome feel of came from the mind of Erick himself and it features our Cruise Missile 2 concave with a rocker in the middle and an extra bend in the tail that really locks your foot in. In this video we break down the details on each of the products and why they are great. Then we put Santa Cruz Brand Manager Andrew Cannon to the test with three different challenges. 40 kickflips in a row and the one down the set was dope, the board looks super fun though with the tight wheel base and short length .

If you count the kickflip back feeble Andrew landed 40 kickflips in a row. The 23rd was the flat gap. The 39th was kickflip front board and the 40th was the bank to bank. This might have been the most convincing ad for buying a board ever

I switched to 8.25 from 8.0 and the only difference I feel is when criusing around, it is much more relaxing on the wider one. But 10 inches wide would be really interesting to ride.

I have a very similar shape deck in my "ready to roll" set ups, a shaped board with a square ish tail is incredibly fun because it forces you to pop and catch higher and get much more stable tricks, and also its very forgiving when landing.

Big love for the old shape, but currently on this deck and enjoying the adjustable wb and nose changes, but miss the old tail. Keep making both shapes.
