Ones a dedicated auger tool, the other is a battery drill in a rig set up to allow it to use that size auger bit. To be honest the battery drill wasnt that far behind, if you're just doing the odd hole here and there, and the rig is significantly cheaper, then go for it. If youre going to be doing lots of holes, get the dedicated auger tool, cos the battery drill will likely burn out.also, if theres only say 30-50 pounds/dollars price difference, just spend the extra and get the dedicated auger tool too.
