I love how detailed your instructions are. I've always wondered why my yarnovers always look different and now I understand. As well, hopefully I'll always do it right from now on!

Super helpful. I've never tackled a pattern with lace stitches before....and I am about to, so this was really useful. Thank you!

I am knitting a baby cardigan for a friend's daughter and my pattern is calling for yfwd and yrn. I was so not understanding the yrn and was getting confused watching other you tubers as the way they were knitting (inserting their needles) looked different to how I knit. You showed the English way and how I knit up. Thank you

Very nice video. I'm new to knitting and am an English style knitter and was very confused with YO especially when going from a K to a P. Very detailed and I love the explanation of the "hows" and "whys" of YO. Thanks!

The difference in size of YOs worked between a knit & and a purl from ones between a purl & a knit is one of those little things that drives me crazy.
I've tried several diffent suggestions for making them match, including wrapping YOs the opposite way and knitting them through back loop on the next row but your way is less fuss and easy to remember - just give more slack while forming one and tighten up while doing the other. So simple and it really helps. Thanks!

Yarn overs freak me out. I can never get them the same size. I'll be re-watching this video many times, I think, to get it right. Thank you.

How do you weave in the ends especially if you are doing yarn overs and stripes with color changing ever 4-8 rows

Thank you. I am trying to figure out a yo and a yob. I wish you had shown the return row. My pattern is all knit with the yo and yob in the center. The leading edge of the knit changes when I get to the yo's and yob's. I am not sure whether to knit with the leading edge or to reseat the stitch or twist. These yo's are increases.

I was knitting a pair of lacy socks and noticed this difference between the two YO (only knit stitches). I'll pay more attention next time, thanks!

Great video. However, I'm a confused enlgish-style knitter (beginner)! It would have been helpful for me to see from the very beginning then following with the return after adding the yarn overs and then how to repeat. I'm trying to add yo, k1, yo inbetween a reversible garter stitch chevron pattern. The stitch pattern is worked on every round. When I add the yo, k1, yo, I don't know how to work those stitches on the even rounds because of the extra stitches or how to add the yarn overs again. Do you have any videos showing the complete process?

This helped me understand yarn overs so much. Thank you! When you say you go back on the return row, are you just purling across (since this looks like stockinette), or are you doing something special with the yarn over stitches on the return? Thanks!

FAB! ...so on lace charts do they tell you to do SSK to compensate for the extra stitch? Or do they assume the knitter knows to do so?
I love your tutorials. The camera get really close and in focus. One can see that you are a sharing person. Some videos show fab designs, but not how to achieve them.... Thank you!

It’s the back side I want to see, I always stuff up on the yo when I’m doing the purl row
