Stumbled upon this one today, I never even knew these bags existed. Most women's designs don't cut it for me. And so, my exploration of your channel begins! Thank you!

For me, I have been in love with the Mission Workshop Rhake. I've used it for the past year and a half, and fell in love with Mission Workshop. Everything that Chrome needed to improve upon was achieved by Mission Workshop. It's fitting, seeing that Mission Workshop was founded by a co-founder of Chrome, who then branched off and made his own company.

JFC what a Tour de Force of backpacks. In the market for a new pack and this is exactly what the doctor ordered. Your review style is second to none. Ripping through bags, just tell me what you love, what you hate and the cool features at an ultra phenetic pace.

You got yourself another sub sir! Love the channel, so much rad content.

These bags need pockets with more dimension to store my magnetic papers, man. Boy, am I the only one who's hungry here? I'm off to get a taco. enchilada or *burrito* or something.

Ive been running the peak design everyday bag with the latch in the larger size for several months and am in love. I used to use a nomadic (still a great bag) but when I switched the the peak design, everything changed for my “EDC”. LOVE the latch/roll-top design!

Buritto!
I wish i had found your video like 5 hours ago before i spent much of my workday looking for a new backpack to replace my 7 year old one that just broke!

Thank you for the quick but informed run through through SO many of my considerations!

I have the Peak Design flap-style backpack. What I LOVE about it is the origami style inserts which enables you to organise the space within the pack. You can protect soft/fragile items from larger heavier ones and you have great access options with the two side panel openings. It's really spacious inside and you can operate a "shelf" system, so if you have for example a tupperware with food in it you can keep it correctly oriented as opposed to laying it on its side.

I like the discreet pocket at the top of the main compartment, the attachment points along with the supplied cordage so you can fasten a jacket/sleeping bag etc to the outside, and the secure zipper pulls (you can fasten them to the attachment points to deter pickpockets).

What I think they should do better, especially for the steep price, is make the shoulder straps more comfortable. Any amount of weight in the pack makes it feel like daggers on your shoulders. It really lets the bag down and it's why it's not my number 1 bag. Also, the laptop/taco pouch compartment could do with having the zipper come down a bit further as it is quite tight to get in there. I always find myself catching the cuticles of my nails on the zippers and it's not great if you're often in and out of that compartment. A weird criticism, I know, but anyone who's hand a hangnail or skin peeling from the base of your fingernail will know what I'm talking about.

All in all if it weren't for the internal organisation, I probably wouldn't use the bag and would sell it. There are so many awesome other options out there.

There are some pretty big updates to the Evergoods lineup that it would be great your take on. Better dust resistance and a new back panel being the main ones

Great content Chase. I’d loved to hear your top recommendations for a “personal item” on an airplane. That’s ~20L size max. Could make for a good video but since I’m traveling soon would appreciate you commenting. Bonus points for something that seems slightly more professional looking rather than “rugged”

If you're ever wondering what Marie Kondo means when she says all your items should *spark joy*, look no further than Chase making sweet love to the Evergoods Civic Panel Loader at 21:57. I will buy this bag based on this review alone. Sensational.

PS: Marie Kondo is the author of the best book I've every read on organizing: "The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up." 11/10; would read a third time.

First time watching your channel. Comprehensive and entertaining are two things that rarely go together. You pulled it off masterfully!

It's the unscripted (I know it basically all is) moments for me. Prime example: "These water bottle pockets are my favorite in the industry. That's a thing I just said". I'm only 2 minutes in and this is already gold.

LOL BURRITO can listen to you talk about bags all day, and I have, I keep a playlist off some off the older stuff and have it playing like background music, while i do chores around my house lol.... I'm not obsessed i swear... maybe
