Managing my own cap space was easy. However I have been tried to trade for a player with several teams and the game will not let them trade anyone away as "it would put them over the cap" Makes no sense. Why are other teams showing up to 12m over the cap and even when you try to trade them draft picks and reduce their salaries paid cannot trade with me. Something seems broken.

My question is what's the point in having to choose to have start cap and no salary cap if you have salary cap it helps you understand the business NFL has but yes it's fun to not have it and sign whoever you want without consequences to it it doesn't seem right to me for some reason

Madden places the penalty cap in the following year, not every year like they are supposed to.

I was just curious with the cap penalty. If there cap penalty is say 10m. And that player u either released or traded and say has 2 yrs left still on there contract. Do u pay that cap penalty for both years he has left on the contract? Or is it just one year?

I had 30.7m in cap space but then like halfway through my season it says I have no cap space
