Something about such a powerful warship shooting that wimpy underpowered gun at such a ridiculously slow rate for a naval weapon makes me think every ship that has one of these should trade it in for an extra CIWS

Is there a specific guy that goes out and picks up all the casings? Do they get repressed into another firing shell? I'm not being a smartass, I really wanna know. And do they ever fall off the ship?
