Let's be fair all the teans that we have played so far in this preseason have the " same coach and players" for a couple years now so it's not a good comparison to make now the coach and a lot of new players has just come in, a new style of play is being introduced...did we really expect to look any better....last season it took poch about 30 games to finally "get it right" ...I'll give moresco half of the season before expecting any form of " solidity" especially in the defense.

Nkunku should be played in #10, as a false #9. Although, I'd have loved Cole to play there, but Nkunku looks more effective in that position, as a decoy.

Palmer could make do on the left-wing, even though it's not his strongest position.

Madueke uncontestably on the right, and Enzo in #8, free of defensive responsibilities, with Lavia holding the DM position.

If we can create a balance between defense and attack, and not be too easy to open up, this team will be terrific!!

Ik it’s pre season and I’m happy for Noni but let’s keep it real lads, we absolutely need better defenders. I understand maresca is trying things out and wants to see who fits him and who doesn’t, but I think we can tell who isn’t good enough and who is by now, I won’t name names. We absolutely need a top experienced cb to help fof’ and Levi, especially if we’re gonna be going with a 3 at the back.. even then, we still need a top cb regardless.
