Salam! I’ve had MS for over 20 years and a clean diet really made a difference for me! I cut out refined sugar, refined carbs and processed foods, ate only whole natural foods and I’ve no inflammation for years! Exercise is super beneficial because you may have weakness in your limbs and it can get really easy to gain weight from lack of movement. Work in strengthening your muscles to curtail immobility. Lots of vitamin D is AMAZING for MS!! You’ll be ok inshAllah🙏🙏🙏🙏

Dear son, my sister was diagnosed with MS when she was 28 years old, with multiple lesions in brain and spinal cord. She is an engineer, now 64 years old. She never left her job for a single day. Initially, she worked in Nairobi now from the last 19 years in UAE.

I’m sorry to hear this!! I too was diagnosed with MS. Alhamdulillah, I have no symptoms. It was an incidental finding on MRI for my seizures that started at 36 yrs old-out of the blue. Anyway, there’s a doctor who had MS. Her name is terry Wahls. She was pretty bad off: couldn’t walk or even sit up. She ended up cleaning her diet, and in a few short months, she was back on her feet and practicing medicine. Her motto is “if you can pick it or kill it, you can eat it .” It makes a ton of sense. Our food today is plastic. Please look her up before you start treatment. They wanted to put me on injections/pills. I found out a year later that the pill they recommended had reproductive side effects. Most drugs of today do have adverse effects. May Allah guide you to the best option for you, brother 😊

PS. I was told that the drugs would “slow the progression” of the disease. I, being hardheaded, didn’t care. I wasn’t going to risk side effects. So I to this day pretty much follow a paleo style diet. My lesions have not changed as of my last mri 8 yrs ago. We’re all different, yes, but like I said, if you can help yourself with food versus synthetically, why not. I wish you the best!

Brother, this news has shattered me. I’m already lying in a hospital bed, fighting my own illness. I’m only 24 years old, and right now I’m undergoing dialysis because my kidneys have failed. Hearing about your illness has left me heartbroken and in tears. I pray that Allah grants you healing and the strength to endure this unbearable hardship. You know, Allah has said that those who believe shouldn’t think they will enter paradise without being tested. Many before us faced trials, and many after us will too. It through me off course, went down the alcohol/drug route, led me to prison...accepted Islam and repented (all the life lessons from Allah during these last few years) has made me rock solid in my belief and I thank Allah for teaching me. My point is don't let it rock you, you've been given a great opportunity to show the world how Islam can make one prosper through the dark times. That's real faith my brother. Salam alaykom, I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis almost 6 years ago and Alhamdulilah by the will of Allah all disease has been dead (inactive) and no new lesions as I have been on prophetic medication including honey water on a empty stomach, black seed oil, Hijama (wet cupping) monthly and many more. My friend has had MS since he was a small child. He has flare ups, and he manages it. He’s living his life to the fullest! Goes to the gym, is an orthopedic physician, and travels the world on vacation.

He has mentioned bee stings as a possible antidote to calm down flare ups— could be worth looking into ❤

I have severe Crohn’s disease and Colitis and I have recently had surgery to remove a large part of my bowel and I am having a really hard time healing. Please make dua for me and that Allah swt makes it easier for me.
I just want to give a shout out to the NHS (National Health Service)..I am born in the UK and as a British Citizen we get free healthcare and medication and treatment and they have been great from the consultants to the Nurses who have been looking after me, they are great and I cannot thank them enough..The cleaners/porters/tea lady..Everyone has been great and I am grateful for them all..May Allah reward all these people
